CDL-A Route Driver - Nights at Core-Mark International. Local routes – Home Daily & Weekends Off. Shift: Start 4:30am until route completion.

Food and food service delivery drivers fulfill a critical role in the country’s food supply chain. Our delivery drivers not only make sure the customers’ products arrive at their destination at the arranged times and in good condition, but they are the face of our company – building lasting relationships with our customers.

• Drive a tractor trailer or straight truck on intrastate and interstate local, shuttle, and overnight routes for delivering and/or unloading food and related products to customers in a safe and timely manner in accordance with DOT regulations.
• Communicate professionally with customers, vendors and co-workers; work as a team member and perform duties to best serve the company.
• Perform all required safety checks (pre/post trip) and inspections; report safety issues and needed repairs.
• Inspect trailers for proper loading and securing of freight; verify items and customer invoices; complete required paperwork accurately.
• Move tractor to loading dock, attach preloaded trailer as needed, and deliver orders according to schedule.
• Unload products, transport to designated storage areas, and perform damage control checks; obtain customer signatures and collect payments where required.
• Load returns, secure trailer doors, lock equipment, and keep trailers clean and organized.
• Maintain daily hours-of-service logs and comply with DOT/state/company requirements.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

• High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent
• Valid CDL-A
• 6+ months of delivery driving experience
• Must be 21+ years of age
• Meet all state licensing/certification requirements (where applicable)
• Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) for past 3 years
• Pass post-offer drug test and criminal background check
• Pass road test
• Attains or has valid current DOT Health Card
• Ability to hand-lift and use equipment to move and stack product cases/freight; typical weights vary by location
