POSITION: Quality Assurance & Compliance Coordinator
STATUS: Full Time; 37.5 hours / week
SCHEDULE: 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM;
Monday through Friday
LOCATION: Wilkinsburg
Milestone Centers, a subsidiary of Partners For Quality Inc., is a nonprofit, community-based human services agency supporting individuals with behavioral health challenges and intellectual & developmental disabilities in communities throughout Western Pennsylvania. Milestone Centers has earned certification from the Sanctuary Institute for providing trauma‑informed care.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate and reflect a commitment to the mission and values of Milestone by serving others with respect, dignity, and compassion.
- Develop performance improvement, implementation, and maintain agency‑wide compliance and quality assurance policies, procedures, and standards.
- Develop and support an organization‑wide culture of safety, quality, and performance improvement, performing the evaluation and implementation of performance improvement models, assessing performance improvement education needs, linking performance improvement activities and data with strategic goals of Milestone.
- Optimize systems workflow management for effective and efficient data collection to abstract, analyze and report quality measure outcomes (aka “core measures”) as well as assessing reputational and value‑based performance measures related to overall population health management s will include packaging and sharing data internally and collaborating with support and operational improvement teams to close performance gaps.
- Lead and develop educational and training activities for diverse adult learners focused on skill development and system improvement. Activities may include PERFORMANCE IMPROVEMENT workshops, just‑in‑time training, administering the organization Learning Management system, mentoring, and coaching colleagues and their development plans in support of a unified methodology and approach to quality and performance improvement.
- Demonstrate proficiency in use of technology in documentation and system monitoring (including but not limited to Electronic Health Record (EHR), Microsoft Office, email, payroll timekeeper, etc.).
- Participate in, develop, and assist with tracking all metrics involved with Value Based Purchasing (VBP) models.
- Establish, monitor, and report on department and program specific productivity measures.
- Able to manage multiple demands and prioritize activities to meet deadlines.
- Ability to work independently, exercise sound judgment and maintain high productivity levels.
- Use a combination of technical, managerial and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge and understanding of quality management principles and regulatory guidelines for programs, incident management protocols and quality assurance.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- All other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
- Degree in Social Work, Human Services, Psychology or a related human service field.
- Minimum of five (5) years’ experience in the human services field.
- One year of quality assurance and compliance experience is preferred.
- Act 33, 34 and FBI Clearances.
- Complete and maintain DHS Medication Administration Certification within first year.
- Complete and maintain ODP’s Certified Investigation Training within first year.
- Obtain and maintain Quality Management Certification Program.
- Valid Driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
