Use elementary teaching experience and valid British Columbia certification to support learners as a temporary Learning Support Teacher. This assignment is part-time.
School District No. 27 offers a 0.6 FTE position effective immediately until June 30, 2027. The schedule will be set in consultation with school administration. The assignment requires special education preparation, elementary-level teaching experience, and IEP experience.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide learning support teaching
- Teach at the elementary level
- Write or maintain IEPs
- Consult with school administration about scheduling
- Special Education diploma or degree
- Elementary teaching training and experience
- Experience writing or maintaining IEPs
- Valid certification with British Columbia Teacher Regulation Branch
