As a BMO Financial Planner, you will help customers pursue financial goals through investment planning, managed products, and referrals. The work includes mutual funds, retirement savings plans, relationship management, and business development. You will also analyze information and recommend solutions aligned with customer and stakeholder needs.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide financial and investment planning advice
- Assess customer needs and recommend managed products
- Build relationships through appointments and community outreach
- Generate referrals for banking, lending, and investment products
- Maintain investment product and industry knowledge
- Three to five years of relevant experience typically
- Post-secondary degree or equivalent education and experience
- Required Financial Planner licensing and registration
- Advanced knowledge of the financial industry
- Strong communication, collaboration, analytical, and influence skills
Use investment planning, relationship management, and financial industry expertise to help BMO customers make meaningful financial progress.
