Obstetrician​/Gynecologist

Two full-time OB-GYN positions at Cariboo Memorial Hospital in Williams Lake. We welcome visits or locum arrangements. Our physician services in Williams Lake include Obstetrics & Gynecology, Pediatrics, General Surgery, Orthopedics, Internal Medicine, Emergency Medicine, Anesthesia, and a full-service group of Family Doctors. Visiting specialists include Radiology, Ophthalmology and ENT. There are opportunities to teach and engage with learners of varying disciplines.

• Provide full-scope OB-GYN care within hospital and outpatient settings as part of a team.
• Collaborate with specialists and engage in a multidisciplinary environment.
• Engage in teaching and learner opportunities across disciplines.
• Contribute to Level 1 MOCAP-funded call coverage as part of the APP contract.
• Participate in Rural Incentives and NAVIG8 leadership development programs where available.

• Eligible for licensure with PSBS; coverage with the Canadian Medical Protective Association is mandatory.
• The appropriate candidate who is eligible for and awaiting FRCSC qualifications may be considered on a case-by-case basis.
