Adult Basic Education Lecturer at TRU

In this sessional role, you will teach ENGL 0500 and ENGL 0600 courses at Williams Lake and 100 Mile campuses. Your responsibilities include developing culturally appropriate materials and fostering intercultural understanding among students. This position contributes to the scholarly teaching practices of TRU, enhancing the learning environment for all.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach ENGL 0500/0600 courses in Williams Lake

• Deliver courses at the 100 Mile campus

• Create and develop impactful, inclusive curricula

• Promote intercultural understanding among students

• Support scholarly teaching practices across the university

Requirements:

• Master’s degree in a relevant field

• Degree in English is mandatory

• Teaching Certificate or five years teaching experience

• Experience with diverse student backgrounds

• Preference for Adult Basic Education English teaching experience
