Position: City Program Instructor Position
Join the City of Williams Lake as a Program Instructor I and steer children’s after school programs. This casual role involves leading fun activities for kids aged 4-12 and ensuring their safety.

As a Program Instructor I, you will assist in delivering a vibrant After school Care program. Working under the Recreation Program Coordinator, you will create engaging schedules that include arts, sports, and educational activities. Effective communication with children and parents is crucial, as is planning and coordinating supplies. You will also maintain a safe and clean environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design interactive activities that challenge and stimulate

• Use age-appropriate language to engage with children

• Develop monthly activity schedules with the program team

• Sanitize and organize program spaces effectively

• Coordinate healthy snacks for daily participants

Requirements:

• High school diploma required; min age 19

• Certification in Child and Youth Care essential

• Clean criminal record check mandatory

• Hold a valid B.C. Driver’s License

• Possess a First Aid Certificate
