Secondary Learning Support Educator

Become a Secondary Learning Support Educator at Columneetza Junior Secondary, starting September 1st, 2026. We are searching for individuals with special education qualifications and a passion for enhancing student learning experiences.
In this Full Time continuing role with School District No. 27 (Cariboo-Chilcotin), you will play a vital role in supporting students with diverse learning needs. A Diploma or Degree in Special Education, valid BC Teaching Certification, and experience creating IEPs are necessary. Your professional growth will be supported through mentorship and development initiatives from experienced educational leaders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop individualized learning plans for students

• Provide effective support in the classroom

• Work collaboratively within the educational team

• Monitor and evaluate student outcomes

• Engage in professional development opportunities
Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in Special Education

• Valid BC Teaching Certification

• Experience teaching secondary education

• Knowledge of IEP development practices
