Position: HCOS Education Assistant for 2026-27
Join Heritage Christian Online School as an Education Assistant, working part-time with students in their home environments. This role supports academic and behavioral needs while promoting essential life skills.

This part-time contract position may evolve throughout the school year, influenced by student needs. You will facilitate personalized learning by collaborating with both parents and case managers. The role emphasizes mentoring students, encouraging critical skills, and differentiating instruction based on individual learning styles.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support students’ academic and personal development

• Foster positive study habits and life skills

• Tailor learning experiences to individual needs

• Collaborate with parents and Case Managers for effective support

• Assist in implementing IEP goals with educational teams

Requirements:

• Experience in education or behavior intervention

• Relevant certifications in educational assistance preferred

• Experience with students with ASD and PDA needed

• Excellent interpersonal skills and emotional intelligence

• Technological skills in Microsoft Office and various platforms
