As a Sergeant in the Natural Resource Officer Service, you will be responsible for the strategic direction and operations of compliance activities. Leading a team, you’ll address urgent environmental issues and collaborate with multiple agencies to enhance public safety. This position uniquely combines leadership with frontline enforcement work.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee compliance and enforcement initiatives within your jurisdiction

• Supervise up to 10 technical and administrative staff

• Manage multi-agency collaborations and emergency situations

• Conduct significant environmental investigations and enforce laws

• Act as a Special Provincial Constable as needed

Requirements:

• Degree or diploma in relevant natural resource fields

• Significant experience in compliance and enforcement actions

• Proven track record in leadership and operational management

• Valid BC Driver’s Licence and ability to work in the field

• Successful completion of the Natural Resource Officer Academy
