Position: Part-Time Clinical Mentor for Nurses in BC
Join Cariboo Memorial Hospital in Williams Lake as a part-time Clinical Mentor Registered Nurse. Support our Medical/Surgical team through mentorship and clinical leadership.
This temporary role is set until December 27, 2027, or until the current incumbent returns. As a Clinical Mentor, you will offer hands-on support and mentorship, enhancing the skills and practices of nursing staff. You will collaborate with nurse educators to provide exceptional training and development opportunities to improve clinical expertise.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct clinical mentorship to nursing staff in practice

• Engage in staff training and professional development activities

• Guide nursing practices and provide advisory support

• Partner with nurse educators to uplift team capabilities

• Champion clinical initiatives for improved patient care
Requirements:

• Active Registered Nurse registration with BCCNM

• At least three years in acute care medical/surgical nursing

• Background in mentoring graduate nurses

• Leadership training or similar experience

• Valid B.C. Driver’s License
