Part Time Clinical Mentor Nurse

Enhance nursing skills at Cariboo Memorial Hospital as a part time Clinical Mentor Registered Nurse in Williams Lake. Support the Medical/Surgical team through mentorship and leadership until December 2027.

This temporary position focuses on delivering clinical mentorship to nursing staff while fostering professional development. You will guide practices, partner with nurse educators, and champion initiatives aimed at improving patient care. Your experience and guidance will play a pivotal role in uplifting team capabilities and enhancing overall service delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct clinical mentorship to nursing staff

• Engage in staff training and development activities

• Provide advisory support to guide nursing practices

• Partner with nurse educators to enhance team capabilities

• Champion clinical initiatives for improved patient care

Requirements:

• Active Registered Nurse registration with BCCNM

• Minimum three years in acute care medical/surgical nursing

• Experience mentoring graduate nurses

• Leadership training or similar experience

• Valid B.C. Driver’s License
