Position: Nurse Mentor for Clinical Leadership
Drive clinical excellence as a part time Clinical Mentor Registered Nurse at Cariboo Memorial Hospital in Williams Lake. Support the Medical/Surgical team through mentorship until December 2027.

This temporary role emphasizes direct mentorship of nursing staff and promoting professional development initiatives. You will guide nursing practices, engage in advisory support, and partner with nurse educators to enhance team capabilities. By championing clinical initiatives, you will contribute significantly to improving patient care standards within the hospital.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct clinical mentorship to nursing staff

• Promote training and professional development activities

• Offer advisory support to guide nursing practices

• Partner with nurse educators to improve team skills

• Champion clinical initiatives for better patient outcomes

Requirements:

• Active Registered Nurse registration with BCCNM

• Minimum of three years in acute care medical/surgical nursing

• Experience mentoring graduate nurses

• Leadership training or similar background

• Valid B.C. Driver’s License
