Interior Health is seeking a skilled Perioperative Registered Nurse to join its Operating Room team. In this casual position, you will provide nursing care to patients undergoing surgery, enhancing the quality of life for both patients and families. Key Responsibilities:

• Provide nursing care to OR patients independently and as a team member

• Collaborate with healthcare providers to enhance patient and family quality of life

• Demonstrate continuous improvement and evidence-based practices

• Maintain and advance clinical competence regularly

• Participate in hospital committees and research projects as assigned

Requirements:

• Graduation from an approved School of Nursing

• Current registration with BCCNM

• CPR certification and perioperative clinical specialty preparation

• One year recent related clinical experience in an operating room

• Additional certifications (NRP, TNCC, ACLS) may be required
