Registered Nurse

Position: Registered Nurse at AgeCare
Deliver professional nursing care as a Registered Nurse at Age Care Cariboo Place in Williams Lake, BC. Supervise a dynamic team while providing vital support to residents in need.

In this regular part-time role, you will collaborate with the Director of Care to implement Age Care policies and enhance residents' quality of life. Utilize your knowledge in geriatric and long-term care nursing while liaising closely with physicians and healthcare partners. You will also oversee Registered Practical Nurses and Personal Support Workers to ensure exceptional care delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide nursing care according to Age Care standards

• Supervise nursing staff and coordinate care services

• Notify physicians of significant resident status changes

• Ensure proper medication administration and documentation

• Conduct shift reports to update the healthcare team

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing and provincial registration

• Background in geriatric or long-term care nursing

• Knowledge of relevant regulations and nursing standards

• Experience in healthcare documentation and reporting

• Ability to handle emergencies and administrative tasks
