Interior Health is looking for an experienced nurse dedicated to providing high-quality sexual and reproductive health services. You will offer care such as STBBI screening, contraceptive management, and holistic health support. Position includes collaboration with healthcare providers and community agencies, utilizing a trauma-informed and culturally safe approach to care.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct STBBI screening and treatment coordination
• Provide gender-inclusive and trauma-informed patient care
• Perform pelvic exams and cervical cancer screenings
• Navigate clients through the health care system
• Deliver education and health promotion
Requirements:
• Valid BC Driver’s License for travel
• Experience in sexual and reproductive health nursing
• Understanding of health equity and social determinants
• Ability to work part-time, Tuesday to Friday
• Culturally safe practice and commitment to Indigenous knowledge
