Key Responsibilities:
• Provide sexual assault nursing care through the SAFE program
• Employ trauma-informed practices in all assessments
• Guide patients navigating the healthcare system
• Conduct comprehensive physiological and psychological assessments
• Respond to actual or potential health issues
Requirements:
• Graduation from an approved School of Nursing
• Current registration with BCCNM
• Minimum one year of related nursing experience
• Completion of a recognized forensic nursing program
• Preceptorship in sexual assault nursing
