Resident Care Manager at AgeCare

Lead resident care at Age Care Cariboo Place as a Resident Care Manager. Ensure person-centered care for residents while managing a dedicated care team in a long-term care environment.

The Resident Care Manager, reporting to the Director of Care, oversees all aspects of resident care services. You will lead recruitment, conduct performance evaluations, and manage the resident move-in process according to Age Care policies. Exceptional leadership and clinical skills are essential to ensure that the highest standards of care are consistently maintained.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee recruitment and orientation of care staff

• Manage performance appraisals of nursing staff

• Coordinate resident move-in and care conferences

• Ensure completion of medication reconciliation

• Assume managerial responsibilities in absence of leadership

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of clinical nursing experience

• At least 5 years in a leadership role

• Knowledge of provincial legislation and standards

• Experience caring for residents with Dementia

• Current registration as RN or LPN in relevant province
