Bakery Department Retail Associate

As a Bakery Associate, you will help keep the department prepared for business and merchandise presented correctly. The work includes baking and thawing products, checking sell-by and expiration dates, and applying ordering, clearance, pricing, and labeling procedures. Applicants must be at least 16 years old.

• Maintain and zone the bakery department
• Assist with stocking and selling bakery goods
• Check bread, cakes, pies, cookies, and rolls
• Record temperatures and calibrate thermometers
• Follow ordering, clearance, and markup procedures

• Be 16 years of age or older
• Follow bakery food handling and safety policies
• Complete required cleaning and sanitation procedures
• Maintain cold chain compliance standards
• Follow product rotation and date controls
