Position: Relational Security Officer at Interior Health
Become a Relational Security Officer at Interior Health in Williams Lake, where you will ensure a safe environment for patients and staff through vigilant security practices.

As part of the Security team, you will patrol facilities and respond to emergency situations under the Supervisor's guidance.

Your role will involve identifying threats, securing premises, and providing necessary support for staff, patients, and the community. This position emphasizes communication and team collaboration in a security-focused role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Utilize surveillance equipment to monitor premises

• Respond to emergencies and consult with medical staff

• Investigate disturbances using non-violent interventions

• Provide escort services for staff and patients as needed

• Document incidents as per established protocols

Requirements:

• Current BC Security Guard License is needed

• Certification in Advanced Security Training required

• One year of relevant experience preferred

• Strong organizational and communication skills needed

• Ability to perform physical tasks related to security duties
