Mental Health and Substance Use Worker

Join The Foundry's team in Williams Lake, B.C., as a Rural Adult Mental Health and Substance Use Worker. This permanent part-time role focuses on youth outreach through client-centered, recovery-oriented care.

We are looking for a resilient and compassionate professional passionate about supporting youth facing mental health and substance use challenges. As a member of a multi-disciplinary team, you will utilize strong clinical assessment and crisis intervention skills. You will be instrumental in providing outreach services to vulnerable populations, demonstrating sound judgment and cultural sensitivity in diverse scenarios.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct intake assessments for mental health and substance use clients

• Provide crisis intervention and case management support

• Collaborate with community partners for service delivery

• Engage in psychoeducation with clients and families

• Facilitate urgent response for acute crises
