Family Support Worker

Enhance community ties and promote self-reliance as a Family Support Worker in Williams Lake. Assist clients in developing essential childcare skills while fostering positive recreational activities.

In this role, you'll assess individual client needs and create tailored plans to support families through the integration of various services. You will engage in community activities, help build trustful relationships, and participate in a multidisciplinary case management environment for enhanced client outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess and plan individualized services for clients

• Introduce clients to community resources and activities

• Contribute to multidisciplinary case management teams

• Promote cultural respect and professional boundaries

• Maintain accurate records according to policies

Requirements:

• Diploma in Human Services or related field

• Strong communication and computer skills

• Experience teaching childcare and parenting skills

• Valid BC driver’s license required

• Current Occupational level 1 First Aid certification
