Job Duties
This position supports agency policy development by drafting clear procedures, coordinating review processes, and ensuring timely updates; conducts research and analytics to produce reports, assess impacts, interpret relevant laws and regulations, and prepare presentations; facilitates stakeholder engagement through workshops, guidance, and collaboration across departments; and provides comprehensive administrative support, including meeting logistics, calendar management, preparation of materials and correspondence, and adherence to regulatory requirements, while performing additional duties as assigned.
This is a part-time wage position - working no more than 1,500 hours in a year.
Minimum Qualifications
* Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex documents.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to produce clear, concise, and professional documents and presentations.
* Proficiency in research tools and information management systems.
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment, managing multiple projects with attention to detail.
* Capacity to interact effectively with agency leadership, internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
* Bachelor's degree preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and experiences.
* Proficiency Microsoft Office Suite and the ability to quickly learn and achieve proficiency in other relevant office and research software applications
* Demonstrated knowledge and/or experiences in policy analysis and research, preferably within state or government organizations.
* Experience drafting, revising, and implementing policies and procedures within a structured framework.
