Kids Zone Attendant

Job Objective:
To provide a safe and pleasant environment for members' children.

Reports to:

Kids Zone Supervisor

• Report to work 10 minutes before your shift begins to be briefed by the prior shift or to open the Kids Zone on time.
• Follow check-in procedures for children.
• Review the activity calendar and prepare for daily activities.
• Control children without direct supervision. Children are to be involved in supervised activities. You should keep the noise level in the room to a minimum.
• Handle any parent concerns immediately or refer to a manager.
• Handle any emergency situations that may occur. Fill out accident and incident reports accurately.
• Children will be transported to and from activities by AFFC staff only.
• The Kids Zone will be cleaned at the end of each shift. This includes, but is not limited to, wiping cribs, tables, and walkers and disinfecting toys.
• Video games will be put away at the end of each shift.
• The Kids Zone will be clean and presentable at all times.
• All forms will be completed at the end of each shift.
• Read and initial the communication log daily.
• Wear proper uniform.
• Smile and greet members and their children by name when they enter the Kids Zone.
• Must be able to lift a minimum of 25 pounds.
