Hospitalist Physician - Dayturnist (SWRMC)

We are seeking a dedicated Hospitalist Physician to provide direct inpatient clinical care for acutely ill, hospitalized adult, non‑surgical patients. The Hospitalist will lead an interdisciplinary team to improve efficiency and facilitate continuum of care from admission through discharge.

• Provide direct inpatient clinical care and manage medical problems of acutely ill, hospitalized adult, non‑surgical patients.
• Lead interdisciplinary team to improve efficiency and facilitate continuum of care from admission through discharge.
• Deliver general adult medicine, internal medicine consults as requested, critical care management, and management of patients with comorbidities.
• Uphold highest standards of ethical and moral conduct, acting in the best interest of Sentara Medical Group and Sentara Healthcare.

• Residency and board certification in the area of specialty.
• Board‑eligible physicians considered.
• Certification must be obtained within 4 years of eligibility.
