** About the Role
** As an Endocrinologist at Riverside, you will provide
** expert, individualized medical care
** for adult patients in an
** outpatient setting**, managing a wide range of endocrine disorders. You will be part of a collaborative team dedicated to improving lives through compassionate care and evidence-based treatment.
** In this role, you will:
*** Manage
** diabetes mellitus**, including Type 1, Type 2, and gestational diabetes
* Treat
** thyroid disorders
** such as hypothyroidism, hyperthyroidism, and thyroid nodules
* Diagnose and manage
** adrenal and pituitary gland disorders
*** Address
** osteoporosis and other metabolic bone diseases
*** Evaluate and treat
** polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS)
** and other reproductive hormone imbalances
* Provide care for
** lipid disorders**,
** obesity**, and
** metabolic syndrome
*** Collaborate with primary care and specialty providers to ensure comprehensive patient care
* Educate patients on lifestyle modifications, medication management, and long-term disease control

* Education:

*** Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO)
** Licensure & Certification:
*** Licensed Medical Doctor in the State of Virginia
* Board Certified or Board Eligible in Endocrinology (American Board of Internal Medicine)
* Current DEA registration
