• Serve as Engineer of Record and support preparation of land development design and permitting documents for Solar and BESS development projects.
• Prepare and review drawings and specifications documenting the systems design.
• Responsible for project financial performance and routine client communications.
• Attend meetings with clients, regulatory agencies, stakeholders and community members to discuss project design and permitting issues.
• Manage work and professional development of junior‑level staff.
• Manage small, medium, and large projects.
• Develop new project opportunities and assist with proposal development and submissions.

• Experienced with AutoCAD Civil 3D, Microsoft Project, MS Office. ArcGIS skills desirable.
• Skills to implement the integrated services approach, comprehensive understanding of design, details, and construction drawing preparation including site layout, grading, erosion control and stormwater management.
• Knowledge of land development construction, construction materials and detailing. Detail drawings, sections, and material specifications.
• Project research and analysis.
• Strong, creative engineering skills and ability to adhere to office standards.
• Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
• Self‑motivated.
• Ability to multitask, think critically and attention to detail.
• Excellent in working in a team environment.
• Exhibits strong leadership skills and growth potential.
• Has interest in growing business development skills.

• BS in Civil Engineering or related degree.
• 5+ years of increasing engineering experience on complex projects.
• PE licensure in Virginia or obtain within 6 months.
• Proficient in site layout, grading, and stormwater management.
• Experience in developing and compiling/producing site plans, construction documents, specifications, and engineering reports.
• Understanding of energy market in Mid‑Atlantic region; especially Virginia.
