This position ensures a clean, safe, and healthy environment within a hospital setting by performing daily cleaning and sanitizing duties. This role directly contributes to infection control, patient comfort, and overall safety by maintaining high standards of cleanliness in patient rooms, common areas, restrooms, office areas, and other facility spaces. Responsibilities may include waste disposal, floor care, dusting, disinfecting surfaces, and reporting maintenance needs.
Minimum Qualifications- Experience in housekeeping.
- Experience working in housekeeping in a healthcare or institutional setting.
- Experience in training and mentoring new housekeeping staff.
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements and standards specific to healthcare facilities, such as those from OSHA and state health departments.
