Sentara Williamsburg Regional Medical Center, Williamsburg, VA (on-site). Position status:
Full‑time, evening shift (3:00 PM – 11:00 PM).

As a Patient Monitoring Technician, you will observe and report high‑risk behaviors that may interrupt medically necessary therapies, document those observations, and collaborate with the care team to enhance patient safety and experience.

• Observe and report high‑risk behaviors and perceived changes in the patient’s condition to the appropriate health‑care team members.
• Document observed behaviors and the need for redirection in the patient EMR on a regular cadence.
• Provide explanations to patients as needed, while avoiding counseling or judgment.
• Assist in identifying and reporting patient safety issues and assess potential safety hazards in the environment.
• Maintain patient dignity and privacy while working collaboratively with all healthcare staff, patients, and families.

• High‑school diploma or equivalent.
• No specific certification or licensure required.
• Preferred: 1 year of healthcare experience.
