MRI Technologist

Job Overview

Sentara is hiring a MRI Technologist in Williamsburg, VA.

Full‑time, evening shift opportunity.

Sign‑on bonus of $20,000 available for qualified candidates.

Perform MRI examinations while maintaining the safety and integrity of the MRI operational area for all persons including staff and customers. Maintain adequate supply inventory for performing examinations. Explain examination and procedure to patients and complete departmental documentation.

• Completion of MRI school/MRI certificate program OR graduate of a 24‑month radiologic technology program in lieu of experience.
• CNMT or ARDMS or ARRT or ARMRIT required. Must obtain ARRT MR advanced registry or ARMRIT within two years of hire (to include mergers and acquisitions).
• BLS.
• 1‑year experience in a radiologic tech position (radiologic tech, nuclear medicine, mammography, or ultrasound) preferred.
• Six months of MR experience or completion of MR didactic program preferred.

Base pay: $32.13 - $53.55 per hour. Additional compensation may be available for this role such as shift differentials, standby/on‑call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
