Set amid the historical backdrop of Williamsburg, Virginia, Colonial Heritage Club offers visitors, locals and residents the perfect location for award winning golf, fine dining, and entertainment as well as a site for hosting weddings and special events. Featuring the only Arthur Hills signature designed golf course in Williamsburg, the club is open to Colonial Heritage resident golf members and the public and provides pristine playing conditions on a layout that winds through rolling hills, streams and pine forests.
The clubhouse emulates the classic British-Colonial style and offers hospitality and service for dining, entertaining family, friends and clients.
- Maintain sanitation of dishes, utensils, glasses, pots, pans, equipment and the kitchen in accordance with department standards.
- Ensure proper soap and rinse chemicals are loaded for washing.
- Remove from service areas any dishes, utensils, and glassware that are damaged or broken.
- Stock delivered food and non-food items.
- Empty and clear garbage bins and breakdown of boxes.
- Deep clean kitchen and equipment.
- Strive to maintain a safe working environment through the prevention of accidents, preservation of equipment, and the achievement of safe working practices.
- Wash and store all tableware and kitchenware.
- Maintain adequate levels of clean tableware for dining room and kitchen.
- Clean food preparation and production areas as required.
- Assist others in closing the kitchen.
- Perform other related duties as assigned by the Kitchen Manager or manager-on-duty.
- High school diploma or GED - preferred.
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast paced environment.
- Knowledge of, or ability to learn standard cleaning methods and equipment used.
- Strong interpersonal and effective communication skills.
- Ability to identify issues and problem solve.
- Ability to adapt and work as a team player.
