Job Description:

This position is responsible for supporting customer accounts, inputting new orders, providing product quotations, supporting updating company marketing information and delivering world-class customer support to both internal and external customers. The role requires adherence to all internal policies and procedures to help achieve MP&L goals for on-time delivery, revenue growth, profitability, and customer satisfaction.

In this function you will:

• Complete customer quotes and order entry daily using the Bid Manager software and other internal resources.
• Field phone calls and emails daily from internal and external stakeholders regarding inquiries on pricing, lead time, order status, customer stock, and shipping preparation & documentation.
• Communicate customer requirements and changes to the operations team.
• Interface with production expedite requests for customer on-time delivery support.
• Understand market demands and the competitive landscape to quote jobs effectively and ensure Marina Power & Lighting is receiving profitable business while staying competitive in the market.
• Apply Client Marina Power & Lighting products to customer needs.
• Facilitate interdepartmental collaboration and communication regarding ship dates, parts order status, tracking information, lead time changes for products, and production issues, ensuring timely updates to address customer delays.
• Communicate and escalate issues to appropriate Operations and Sales leadership and follow up directly with customers.
• Daily communication and support of intercompany correspondence via email, Teams, Salesforce and telephone.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Required (Basic)

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
• Minimum two (2) years of inside sales and marketing experience.
• Experience with interpreting electrical plans and contract documents.
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with others, maintaining courtesy and tact in stressful situations when interacting with both external and internal contacts.
• Must be able to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship now and within the future.

Prefered Criteria:

• Working knowledge of Vista and Bid Manager
• Familiarity with marine and RV industries and products.

Position Criteria:

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Office 365 Word, Excel, PowerPoint, lists/Teams.
• Able to learn and apply new digital tools quickly.
• Support marketing information development and deployment
• Ability to use sound commercial judgment in communicating sensitive information to field, distributor, and end-user contacts.
• Must be knowledgeable in the use of PCs including current software programs, emailing, document imaging, systems, and database management
• Develop software proficiency with Client systems:
  Salesforce, Vista, SAP, Benchmark, CQM, 919, Adobe
