Join a growing precision manufacturing team as a 3rd Shift CNC Machinist. This role is responsible for setting up, programming, and operating CNC machining centers to produce high-quality components that meet tight tolerances and customer specifications. Key Responsibilities Set up, program, and operate CNC mills and other machining equipment to manufacture precision components. Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, GD&T requirements, and work instructions. Select appropriate tooling, fixtures, and machining parameters to optimize production. Perform in-process and final inspections using precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, gauges, and indicators. Make machine adjustments and offsets to maintain dimensional accuracy and product quality.

Troubleshoot machining issues and identify opportunities to improve efficiency, cycle times, and overall productivity. Complete routine machine maintenance and maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment. Accurately document production information, inspections, and quality records. Collaborate with engineering, quality, and production team members to resolve manufacturing challenges. Follow all company safety policies and quality standards. Qualifications High school diploma or GED required;

technical machining training is a plus. 3+ years of CNC machining experience in a manufacturing or job shop environment preferred. Experience setting up and operating CNC mills; programming experience is highly desirable. Strong understanding of machining principles, tooling, feeds, speeds, and cutting processes. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and GD&T. Proficiency with precision measuring equipment and inspection techniques.

Mechanical aptitude with strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently on an overnight shift while maintaining productivity and quality standards. Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with Haas CNC equipment. Familiarity with CAM software and CNC programming. Experience machining metals such as aluminum, stainless steel, and other alloys.
