Position Overview

Per Diem CRNA position with a short-term acute care facility, Riverside Doctors’ Hospital Williamsburg in Virginia.

Riverside Doctors’ Hospital Williamsburg is a short-term acute care facility with 33 medical and surgical rooms, 40 licensed private rooms, and seven intensive care rooms. The voluntary nonprofit facility represents the commitment to the Williamsburg, VA, region. The hospital was designed and constructed to engender a patient-centered focus. Set on an attractively landscaped 25-acre campus, Riverside Doctors’ Hospital is a 100,000-square-foot, two-story building.

It is situated within Quarter path, a larger, multiuse development.

• Current license as a registered professional nurse.
• Graduation from an accredited program of nurse anesthesia education.
• Certified or recertified by the AANA Council on Certification of Nurse Anesthetists.

• Pre-anesthesia assessment.
• Obtains and/or verifies patient consent.
• Discuss anesthetic options and risks with the patient.
• Induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia.
• Monitoring of the patient's physiological condition.
• Performance of clinical intervention as needed.
