Role SummaryThis role will manage approximately 20 FTEs as well as coordinate responsibility for Stroke and Magnet Programs at Williamsburg Regional Medical Center. The Manager will supervise and manage a 24‑hour operation.
ShiftDays (flexible)
ResponsibilitiesThe RN Manager is responsible and accountable for 24 hr operations, including scheduling, resources, and mentoring and/or assisting staff. Interviews, hires, and develops team members to achieve a highly effective work team. Engages in talent retention strategies for the area(s) of responsibility.
Requirements- 2 yrs or more of Nursing Leadership REQUIRED
- 2 yrs recent RN bedside hospital experience REQUIRED
- Bachelors in Nursing (or higher) REQUIRED
- RN License to practice in Virginia REQUIRED
- RN-Bachelor’s Degree, or
- RN-Master’s Degree
- Basic Life Support (BLS) within 90 days of hire
