Hospital Resource Pool / Coordinator for Stroke & Magnet

The hospital is a Certified Primary Stroke Center and STEMI Center and offers a full range of medical care from emergency heart catheterization to all-inclusive maternity care where patients may stay in one room, as well as a Gold Level Geriatric ER.

This role will manage approximately 20 FTEs as well as coordinate responsibility for Stroke and Magnet Programs at Williamsburg Regional Medical Center. The Manager will supervise and manage a 24‑hour operation.

Days (flexible)

The RN Manager is responsible and accountable for 24 hr operations, including scheduling, resources, and mentoring and/or assisting staff. Interviews, hires, and develops team members to achieve a highly effective work team. Engages in talent retention strategies for the area(s) of responsibility.

• 2 yrs or more of Nursing Leadership REQUIRED
• 2 yrs recent RN bedside hospital experience REQUIRED
• Bachelors in Nursing (or higher) REQUIRED
• RN License to practice in Virginia REQUIRED

• RN-Bachelor’s Degree, or
• RN-Master’s Degree

• Basic Life Support (BLS) within 90 days of hire
