Overview

Registered Nurse Manager – Hospital Resource Pool / Coordinator for Stroke & Magnet

Sentara Williamsburg Regional Medical Center, Williamsburg, VA

Work Shift:

First (Days)

This role will manage approximately 20 FTEs and coordinate responsibility for Stroke and Magnet Programs at Williamsburg Regional Medical Center. The Manager will supervise and manage a 24‑hour operation.

Responsibilities

The RN Manager is responsible and accountable for 24 hour operations, including scheduling, resources, mentoring and/or assisting staff, interviews, hires, and team development to achieve a highly effective work team. The Manager engages in talent retention strategies for the areas of responsibility.

Requirements
  • 2 years or more of Nursing Leadership REQUIRED
  • 2 years recent RN bedside hospital experience REQUIRED
  • Bachelor's in Nursing (or higher) REQUIRED
  • RN License to practice in Virginia REQUIRED
Education
  • RN-Bachelor's Degree or RN-Master's Degree
Certifications
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) within 90 days of hire
Facility Description

Sentara Williamsburg Regional Medical Center is a 145‑bed facility featuring the latest healthcare technologies, serving Williamsburg and the surrounding community. The hospital is a Certified Primary Stroke Center and STEMI Center and offers a full range of medical care from emergency heart catheterization to all-inclusive maternity care and a Gold Level Geriatric ER. Advanced imaging and “smart” operating rooms, Magnet recognition, and a consecutive Leapfrog A safety rating highlight the facility.

Compensation

We provide market‑competitive compensation packages, inclusive of base pay, incentives, and benefits. The base pay rate for full time employment is: $91,416.00 – $. Additional compensation may be available such as shift differentials, standby/on‑call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
