REQUIREMENTS:
18 months RECENT Previous RN OR experience REQUIRED
Previous charge nurse or other RN leadership experience
Meets and maintains any requirements defined by specific specialty;
Critical Care/IMCU ACLS within 1 year of hire;
All Direct Care RNs required to have BLS within 90 days of hire.
EDUCATION:
BSN or MSN REQUIRED
CERTIFICATIONS and or LICENSURE:
RN License valid to practice in the State of Virginia
Possesses clinical knowledge and skills to meet standards as required by specific clinical areas. RN License valid to work in the State of Virginia
The RN Unit Coordinator demonstrates proficiency in nursing practice for the assigned specialty area and provides clinical leadership for the delivery of nursing care in a department. Under the direction of the department manager, leads safety and quality initiatives, focuses on and simplifies workflow, and contributes to the development of staff. Increase staff satisfaction and promotes excellent (Gold Standard) customer service.
