Seasonal - Stock Associate

Overview

The Seasonal Stock Associate is responsible for receiving, unpacking, and preparing merchandise for the selling floor. They are also responsible for the organization, maintenance, and cleanliness of the stock room.

• Customer Experience
  :
  Create a positive first impression by adhering to the dress code and maintain store standards and cleanliness in the stock room and on the selling floor.
• Inventory Control
  :
  Notify management of shipment discrepancies and missed markdowns in the stock room. Sensor, steam, fold, and hang merchandise as needed. Bring new goods to the selling floor and replenish merchandise from the stock room. Execute transfers, RTVs (Return to Vendor), manage damages, and handle customer charge sends. Ensure the stock room is organized, clean, and merchandise is floor-ready at all times.

• Complete all duties as assigned by management. Be punctual and adhere to the designated work schedule.
• Work well with peers and management to accomplish duties. Follow GUESS Policies and Procedures 100%.
• Perform housekeeping and maintenance duties.

• Participate in store meetings and related functions. Represent a positive attitude toward the merchandise and the company. Participate in all inventories.
• Assume and complete other duties as assigned by store management.
  
  Physical requirements:
  
  ability to perform heavy lifting in excess of 30 pounds and stand for a minimum of eight hours during scheduled shifts.

• Education:
  
  High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience:
  
  Previous retail or stockroom experience preferred.
• Team Player:
  Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.
• Flexible
  
  Schedule:
  
  Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Physical Stamina:
  Ability to walk, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, and balance on a frequent basis.
