Insurance Agent (Base salary + Uncapped commissions)

Base pay range: $55,000.00/yr - $65,000.00/yr. The typical first‑year compensation ranges from $55k to $75k, with potential for top performers to earn over $100k through base, bonuses, and uncapped commissions.

We are looking for a Sales Agent to join our team in the Lynchburg, Williamsburg, and Richmond, VA areas. Success in this role will require a strong local network and in‑person relationship building in the community. This is not a remote position.

• Previous employment in a sales role with a proven record of turning prospects into customers.
• A state insurance license – or willingness to earn one with training and support – in Property & Casualty and Life.

• Effective written and oral communication and presentation skills.

• Great interpersonal skills and proven ability to build relationships with prospective and existing customers.
• Effective time management and organizational skills.
• Ability to learn insurance coverage and underwriting guidelines.
• Familiarity with finding, building and growing leads and customer base.
