Job OverviewCoppersmith Recruitment and Services Inc is recruiting on behalf of a high‑growth, Series A technology company redefining digital advertising and creator monetisation. The Sales Director role is a senior, hands‑on leadership position and a foundational hire within the go‑to‑market function. You will work directly with executive leadership to scale enterprise and mid‑market advertiser revenue, while personally owning key deals and helping define the long‑term sales strategy.
This is a player‑coach role requiring a proven advertising sales leader who can close, lead by example, and build scalable processes in a fast‑moving, innovation‑driven environment.
- Own and grow enterprise and mid‑market advertising revenue as a senior individual contributor
- Personally manage and close complex, high‑value advertising deals
- Own the full sales cycle from outbound prospecting through close, onboarding, and expansion
- Drive a consistent outbound motion, maintaining a strong pipeline and meeting cadence
- Build deep, trusted relationships with senior brand leaders, media buyers, and performance marketers
- Evangelize creator‑led and You Tube‑based advertising solutions to enterprise audiences
- Develop and execute sales strategies to exceed ambitious revenue targets
- Co‑author and refine the sales playbook, processes, and forecasting models
- Partner cross‑functionally to optimize creator‑brand fit and campaign performance
- Analyze performance data and provide strategic recommendations to advertisers
- Maintain rigorous CRM hygiene and accurate pipeline reporting
- Senior‑level digital advertising sales experience within ad tech, media, or performance marketing organisations
- Strong hunter mentality with a proven outbound‑led sales background
- Experience selling advertising directly to brands, media buyers, performance marketers, and agencies
- Demonstrated record of exceeding quota (100%+ attainment) and consistent top performance
- Full ownership of complex sales cycles, including procurement and legal negotiation
- Experience scaling revenue or sales functions in high‑growth, nimble environments
- Deep understanding of modern advertising (not traditional media‑only sales)
- Bachelor’s degree from a reputable institution
- Expert understanding of digital advertising ecosystems, performance marketing, and media buying
- Strong knowledge of You Tube advertising, creator integrations, DSPs, and programmatic sales
- Data‑driven approach to selling performance and ROI
- Executive‑level communication and relationship‑building skills
- Strategic thinker with hands‑on execution ability
- Nimble, resilient, and comfortable operating in ambiguity
- Passionate about innovation in advertising and the creator economy
- Actively leverages AI and automation to improve sales efficiency
- Must be willing to work in‑office 5 days per week in Williamsburg, Brooklyn
- Strong passion for creator‑led advertising, especially You Tube
- Comfortable working directly with both brands and agency partners
