A. Nice Builders, Inc. is seeking a skilled Site Utility Installer to deliver high-quality water, sewer, and utility installation projects. This role demands expertise in operating heavy equipment, precise utility installations, and advanced planning to meet strict project specifications and schedules. - Install and repair water mains, sewer lines, meters, conduits, chase ways, and valves with precision, ensuring compliance with plans and regulations.
- Operate heavy equipment (excavators, backhoes, bulldozers) with expert control in high-risk environments.
- Plan and sequence utility installations, interpreting site plans and using GPS systems to avoid conflicts.
- Conduct site surveying, calculate grades, and locate underground utilities.
- Maintain equipment, ensure a safe work environment, and collaborate with project teams.
- Minimum 3 years of verifiable utility construction experience.
- Advanced skills in heavy equipment operation, utility installation, and site planning.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and safety management abilities.
- Valid Driver’s License, CPR/AED Certification, and 10-hour OSHA training.
- Ability to work in varied conditions (trenches, heights, extreme weather) and extended hours as needed.
