Job Description:

Job Summary: Responsible for the daily operations of the club's Group Exercise programs.

Reports to: General Manager

• Complete audition and hiring process for all new instructors.
• Assist the Director in training instructors through workshops or specific needs at the location.
• Maintain current staff information and communication records.
• Schedule staff based on instructor availability, qualifications, member preferences, and club needs.
• Monitor class attendance and submit reports to management.
• Develop and implement specialty class formats and new programs, including Les Mills launches.
• Maintain accurate payroll records.
• Supervise group exercise staff and ensure class coverage.
• Teach classes as needed.
• Evaluate instructors regularly based on performance reviews.
• Attend monthly meetings with the Director and Coordinators.
• Assist with organization of CEC workshops or presentations.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the studio and equipment.
• Request additional equipment as needed.
• Update instructors and staff with communication from the club and Director.
• Keep the Group Exercise schedule and relevant information updated on the website.
• Promote the club and its programs.
• Attend department head meetings and coordinate with other departments.
• Adhere to American Family Fitness Mission, Vision, and Code of Ethics.
