Registered Nurse (RN) – Detox (Nights):

Location: Willimantic, CT 06226

Contract Duration: 12 Weeks (01/12/2026 – 04/11/2026)

Shift: Night Shift (NOC) | 11:00 PM – 7:30 AM | Sunday – Thursday

Rushford Center is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) for our Acute Care Evaluation Detox unit in Willimantic, CT. This 12-week assignment is located at The Ridge Recovery Center, where you will provide critical care to patients undergoing detoxification. This role is ideal for a night-shift professional with a strong background in acute care and a passion for behavioral health or addiction medicine.

• Weekly Hours: 40 hours per week.
• Shift Pattern: 5 x 8-hour shifts (Sunday through Thursday).
• On-Call: None required.
• Meal Break: 30 minutes.

• Provide high-quality nursing care within an acute detox setting.
• Monitor patient vital signs and manage withdrawal symptoms effectively.
• Administer medications and treatments according to facility protocols.
• Utilize EPIC electronic health records for accurate documentation and patient tracking.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure patient safety and effective recovery transitions.

• Experience: Minimum of 2 years of Acute Care nursing experience is required.
• Preferred Background: Prior experience in Behavioral Health or Addiction Medicine is strongly preferred.
• Systems: Proficiency with EPIC is highly preferred.
• Licensure: Must hold an active, unencumbered RN license.
• Certifications: Current BLS (American Heart Association) certification required.
