Position: TRAVELING Construction Materials Testing (CMT) Technician - Data Centers, Commercial Warehouses

Braun Intertec is seeking experienced Construction Materials Technicians to join our team.
This is a traveling position working on Data Centers, Commercial Warehouses, and other remote projects.

We are looking for dependable, flexible individuals who enjoy teamwork. This position requires working overtime/weekends and outdoors in various weather conditions. Candidates should have strong integrity, self-motivation, and the ability to perform routine inspections and testing of construction materials to ensure they meet project specifications.

Responsibilities:

Perform concrete and compaction testing on commercial construction projects.

Prepare daily reports on testing and activities.

Accurately report observations and test data.

Communicate test results with project leads and site personnel.

Collaborate with project engineers and clients to ensure compliance with specifications.

Required Skills:

Valid driver’s license and good driving history.

Ability to travel extensively to remote project sites across the US.

Willingness to work long hours and weekends when needed.

Previous materials testing experience preferred.

Technical skills in electronic field data collection.

Ability to interpret plans and specifications.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).

iPad experience is a plus.

Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Required Experience:

High School diploma or equivalent.

1-3 years of construction materials testing experience.

Minimum

Certifications:

ACI Concrete Field-Testing Technician Grade I

Preferred

Certifications:

ACI Concrete Strength I
ICC Reinforced Concrete Special Inspector
ICC Structural Masonry Special Inspector
ICC Pre-stressed Concrete Special Inspector
State DOT Certifications
NICET Certifications
Nuclear Gauge / Radiation Safety
