North Dakota TECHNICIAN III ELECTRICAL (Finance)

The Electrical Technician II will accurately and efficiently perform diversified tasks relating to product assembly, to include box terminations, service loop installation and termination, crimping of all terminations, point to point testing of components, calibration of boards or meters, testing of completed assemblies such as control consoles.

High school diploma and 5-7 years related work experience. Formal training in Electrical or Electronics is an asset. LANGUAGE SKILLS Fluent in English. Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. MATHEMATICAL SKILLS Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percentage.

REASONING ABILITY Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations. Ability to understand basic drawings and bills of material. COMPUTER SKILLS General knowledge of Microsoft Word and E-Mail messaging, and an all-around general knowledge of computer operations is advantageous.

1) Assist in the assembly process with the assistance from drawings and schematics Assist with part fitting, bolting, connecting, threading, aligning, calibrating, grinding, crimping and inspecting Ability to explain the theory of operations of plant electrical component motors Ability to perform special soldering Understands basic formulas of electricity Explain the basic electrical layout Understands basic circuit elements (source, ground, resistor, capacitor Understands BOM's (Folder/Process)

Complies and participates in company safety and quality programs and initiatives Performs all duties of the Electrical Technician 1 Measure and record technical data as tasks are complete Test equipment according to testing specifications and record result in test book Able to schedule and organize work task of subordinates (level one tech) Assist higher level electricians in the assembly process with the assistance from drawings and schematics.

Assist in activities such as parts fitting, bolting, connecting, threading, aligning, calibrating, grinding crimping, and inspecting Initials changes through approved mechanisms and report changes Able to track changes and report changes Inspect all equipment used and perform preventive maintenance checks and services Overtime as required to meet customer delivery schedules Other duties may be assigned
