LDRP RN — Float | Critical Access Hospital

Schedule: Days + call 6:45 AM–7:15 PM
Block scheduling allowed; no self-scheduling.

Holidays: Every other holiday
Weekends: Conflicting notes—every other weekend versus every third weekend; confirm before submission.

Unit Highlights

• 15 beds: 7 L&D and 8 postpartum.
• Approximately 58 births/month; 1 C-section OR.
• Ratios: 1:1 for Pitocin, magnesium, or insulin drips; 1:3 couplet care.
• Primarily obstetric/neonatal patients, including hypertension and gestational diabetes.
• OB/neonatology and anesthesia are not in-house 24/7.
• Charting: Meditech EFM: Trace View/PIP.

Requirements

• Previous travel experience.
• BLS and Intermediate Fetal Monitoring.
• Strong fetal-strip interpretation and drip titration skills.
• Willingness to float to Med-Surg, ER, and other areas within skill set.
• ACLS, NRP, and STABLE preferred.
• Active license required at submission; .

Assignment Details

• Call/standby depends on staffing.
• Three unit orientation shifts.
• Maroon surgical scrubs provided; change on the unit.
• 50-mile radius rule.
• No full-time, part-time, or PRN employment with Common Spirit/CHI/Dignity within the past 12 months.
• All RTO required upfront; additional requests not approved.
• Facility may cancel 4 shifts per 13 weeks, or 3 shifts for shorter assignments.
