As a Field Service Technician, you'll be the go‑to technical expert ensuring our rental equipment performs at its best‑whether in the Williston, ND shop or out in the field. You'll play a vital role in keeping customers up and running by diagnosing issues, performing preventative maintenance, and making repairs that exceed expectations. - Install, test, maintain, and repair rental equipment both in‑house and at customer sites.
- Diagnose technical issues and resolve them efficiently‑or collaborate with team experts when needed.
- Deliver hands‑on customer support, including training users on proper equipment care.
- Maintain accurate service records using modern tools and systems.
- Travel to customer sites, support on‑call rotations, and adapt to seasonal overtime as needed.
- Always put safety first‑on the road, in the shop, and on customer sites.
- 3+ years of technical experience in equipment service, field maintenance, or a related area.
- Good mechanical aptitude and strong troubleshooting and repair skills (mechanical, electrical, or hydraulic a plus).
- Ability to read and apply electrical schematics & blueprints.
- Great communication skills—you can explain technical issues clearly to customers and teammates.
- A safety‑first mindset and proven track record of working responsibly in shop or field settings.
- CDL certifications is a plus.
- A clean driving record to be verified through MVR.
- Ability to travel 50‑75 %.
