Crane Operator:
The positions are diverse, and job duties may vary daily. Candidates may be required to operate different types of equipment such as cranes, loaders, semi/hotshots, etc.
Under direct supervision, perform oil field related services and tasks in accordance with 3 Forks Services, Safety, and Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) requirements. This includes wearing and using all Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) required by 3 Forks Services, OSHA, Customers, and any other local, state, or federal regulations.
Supervisory Responsibilities
- This position has no supervisory duties.
Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Operate mobile cranes on various locations in a safe and effective manner.
- Inspect, rig, and ensure that rigging applications are configured in accordance with the load chart and manufacturer guidelines.
- Inspect, clean, and perform operator level maintenance on equipment in accordance with standards.
- Closely interact with crew members on job tasks and safety accountability.
- Provide leadership and mentoring to crew members.
- Perform daily safety checks to ensure equipment is in safe operating condition.
- Follow related safety regulations, contract requirements, company policies, and operating procedures.
- Complete necessary documentation and reporting.
- Lead the JSA process with active participation from crew members.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Valid commercial driver's license.
- Equipment Operator training and certificate from the National Commission for the Certification of Crane Operators (NCCCO).
- High School Diploma, G.E.D., or equivalent.
- Ability to repeatedly lift 75 lbs.
- Must pass pre-employment drug and alcohol screening as well as background check.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 2-year previous oilfield experience.
- 1-year mobile hydraulic crane operating experience.
- Winter weather driving experience in a CMV.
- PEC - Safeland and/or OSHA 10 - Must have proof of training.
- PEC - H2S Clear and/or H2S Awareness - Must have proof of training.
