Crane Operator:

The positions are diverse, and job duties may vary daily. Candidates may be required to operate different types of equipment such as cranes, loaders, semi/hotshots, etc.

Under direct supervision, perform oil field related services and tasks in accordance with 3 Forks Services, Safety, and Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) requirements. This includes wearing and using all Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) required by 3 Forks Services, OSHA, Customers, and any other local, state, or federal regulations.

Supervisory Responsibilities

  • This position has no supervisory duties.

Duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Operate mobile cranes on various locations in a safe and effective manner.
  • Inspect, rig, and ensure that rigging applications are configured in accordance with the load chart and manufacturer guidelines.
  • Inspect, clean, and perform operator level maintenance on equipment in accordance with standards.
  • Closely interact with crew members on job tasks and safety accountability.
  • Provide leadership and mentoring to crew members.
  • Perform daily safety checks to ensure equipment is in safe operating condition.
  • Follow related safety regulations, contract requirements, company policies, and operating procedures.
  • Complete necessary documentation and reporting.
  • Lead the JSA process with active participation from crew members.



Minimum Qualifications:

  • Valid commercial driver's license.
  • Equipment Operator training and certificate from the National Commission for the Certification of Crane Operators (NCCCO).
  • High School Diploma, G.E.D., or equivalent.
  • Ability to repeatedly lift 75 lbs.
  • Must pass pre-employment drug and alcohol screening as well as background check.



Preferred Qualifications:

  • 2-year previous oilfield experience.
  • 1-year mobile hydraulic crane operating experience.
  • Winter weather driving experience in a CMV.
  • PEC - Safeland and/or OSHA 10 - Must have proof of training.
  • PEC - H2S Clear and/or H2S Awareness - Must have proof of training.
