Position OverviewThe Heavy Equipment Operator is required to excavate, move, grade, and/or compact earth under general supervision of a Field Foreman in a safe, effective, and appropriate manner. Routine maintenance and repair to equipment in addition to other duties are also required. Heavy equipment may include trucks, front‑end loaders, scrapers, dozers, graders, compactors, snowblowers and other pieces of equipment. The Heavy Equipment Operator must also clean and ensure all equipment is in proper condition.
