Field Service Technician, Oil & Gas

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 3+ years of compression process, production, and equipment related experience and/or training
• Successful completion of Kodiak’s Short Service Employee (SSE) program and 1-2 years in an entry level Field Technician role
• Electrical troubleshooting skills
• Advanced knowledge of compressor packages and motor compressors (Waukesha, Ariel, Caterpillar, etc.)
• Working knowledge of HSE procedures and regulations
• Valid Driver’s License with acceptable Motor Vehicle Record
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English
• Physical ability to lift at least 10 lbs frequently and >50 lbs infrequently
• Ability to work in high noise, outdoor, and hazardous environments
• Ability to climb ladders/stairs, stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawl in confined spaces
• Must wear all required PPE
• Ability to work overtime, weekends, holidays, and participate in on-call rotations

• OEM, Trade School, or 2+ years comparable work experience in a related field/industry (preferred)
• Cat, Waukesha, or Ariel Certification (preferred)
